Russian occupiers continue to advance on the front in Ukraine. New enemy successes have been recorded in the Luhansk and Donetsk regions. Overall, the invaders have made progress in five directions: Kupiansk, Svatove, Pokrovsk, Kurakhiv, and Vuhledar.
This is stated in the report by the Institute for the Study of War (ISW). Analysts presented maps of the battles from the previous day, November 6.
Spokesman for the Kharkiv group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant Colonel Yevheniy Romanov, stated that the worsening weather conditions in the northern part of the region from November 3 to 5 led to a one-third reduction in daily combat activities and a noticeable decrease in the use of drones and equipment by the occupiers. According to him, this has prompted Russian invaders to accumulate supplies in preparation for winter.
1Recently, Russian occupiers advanced southeast of Kupiansk and west of Svatove. Geolocation footage published on November 6 shows that Russian troops have advanced west of Kolysnykivka and through fields into the northeastern part of Pershotravneve.
2The occupiers have recently made progress in the Pokrovsk direction. Geolocation footage from November 6 indicates that the invaders have advanced southeast of Novooleksiyivka.
3Additionally, the occupiers have recently advanced towards Kurakhove. Geolocation footage from November 6 shows Russians raising a tricolor flag over a building in the northwestern part of Stepaniivka, which may indicate that Russian forces have captured the settlement.
4Russian occupiers have also recently advanced in the Vuhledar area. Geolocation footage from November 6 shows Russian troops conducting two separate reinforced mechanized assaults the size of a platoon, indicating that the invaders have advanced within Antonivka and east of Bohoyavlenka, according to the report. Additional geolocation footage published on November 6 shows that Russian forces have advanced southwest of Trudove.
5According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, during the previous day, November 6, there were 148 combat clashes on the front.
