In Donetsk, a case has been initiated for the first time against representatives of the occupying authorities of the so-called DNR. They are accused of looting Ukrainian factories and enterprises during the hostilities. The main suspects have been detained.

This was reported by Ukrainian blogger and journalist Denys Kazansky. He noted that the case involves the former "minister of industry and trade of the DNR, Volodymyr Rushak, and his assistant Serhiy Holoshchapov. There are other individuals involved in the case who have also been imprisoned.

"In Donetsk, high-ranking officials of the 'DNR' have been arrested for looting, robbing, and dismantling captured Ukrainian factories in Mariupol for scrap metal. This is further confirmation that the essence of the 'DNR' is looting and plundering Donbas," said the journalist.

The suspects were dismantling and selling equipment from the factory. Overall, during this time, they caused damage to the enterprise amounting to approximately 5 million dollars. A case has been opened under part 4 of article 356.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. It is noted that this is the first criminal case of looting initiated against DNR officials.

The journalist emphasized that the arrests occurred only because these representatives of the occupying authorities "did not share with someone and did not pay someone." Meanwhile, other looters continue to calmly plunder Donbas without facing arrest.

Occupiers in Donetsk Region

Collaborators and the "new government" appointed by Moscow behave like "little kings" in the occupied territories. They allow themselves to loot, destroy, seize, punish, and do whatever they please. This is all due to the complete impunity prevailing there.

For example, in the Zaporizhia region, the Russians are exporting cut timber. They are doing this illegally. Such a case has been documented in Melitopol, although similar incidents likely occur in other occupied regions.

Moreover, these "liberators" are dismantling structures from the destroyed Avdiivka Coke Plant and transporting them for scrap to the port of Mariupol. The profits from this "improvement" go to companies associated with the head of the terrorist organization DNR, Pushilin.

The Russian company "Agrokompleks named after Tkachev" has seized over one and a half thousand square kilometers of land in the occupied territory of Ukraine. These lands belonged to the companies HarvEast Holding, Nibulon, and Agroton Public Ltd. The Russians have also appropriated the machinery and equipment.
