During the night of Sunday, December 8, Russian drones terrorized the Dnipropetrovsk region. The Ukrainian air defense was active over the area. As a result of the Russian drone attack, windows in residential buildings were damaged, a college was destroyed, vehicles were affected, and an elderly woman was injured. The situation was particularly loud in the Kamianske district and Nikopol, which came under heavy artillery fire from the enemy.
Head of the Regional State Administration, Serhiy Lysak, provided details about the consequences of the drone attack on Dnipropetrovshchyna. He confirmed the operation of air defense in the region and added that a 64-year-old woman was injured due to the drone attack. Fortunately, her life and health are not in danger - the resident received all necessary medical assistance on-site and will not require hospitalization.
Additionally, there are significant destructions in the region, especially in the Kamianske district. The enemy targeted a college, damaged two cars, and shattered windows in five multi-story residential buildings. The drone attacks also caused damage to a municipal enterprise and power lines.
The Russians also terrorized Nikopol. Until midnight, the city was subjected to heavy artillery strikes. Experts are currently assessing the impact of the strikes; however, preliminary reports suggest there were no casualties or injuries.
Lysak also released photos showing the aftermath of the destruction in the Kamianske district. The images depict shattered windows in buildings and damage to facades.
In Dnipropetrovsk region, as a result of the Russian attack on Ukraine on November 17, two people lost their lives. The Russians took the lives of two employees of "Ukrzaliznytsia". There were also injuries reported and extensive destruction of civilian infrastructure.
In Kryvyi Rih, a woman was killed due to the Russian strike on September 27. Her body was found under the rubble. Additionally, five people were reported injured. Furthermore, 26 residential buildings, an educational institution, and nearly a hundred vehicles were damaged in the city.
