"Collapse of the Front" in Ukraine

The Russians are advancing at a tremendous pace in Donetsk, taking control of more and more settlements. Most of these have been completely leveled by the enemy, with homes and infrastructure destroyed by shelling.

Experts and analysts assert that the front in Donbas has "collapsed". Soon, the enemy will completely seize Selydove, which will provide a tactical exit to Pokrovsk. The reasons for this success of the Russians lie in the lack of ammunition, weapons, and personnel in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as the disorganization of command and the simple fatigue of Ukrainian fighters.

According to AFP, the enemy advanced in eastern Ukraine by 470 square kilometers in October. This is the largest territorial gain since March 2022. However, not all military personnel agree with the term "collapse of the front." They refer to it merely as the rapid advance of Russia, caused by a number of factors mentioned above.
