Russians launched a drone strike on one of the largest markets in Kharkiv.

On the evening of Wednesday, February 5, Russian occupiers once again targeted Kharkiv with a drone strike. The Kyiv district of the city was hit, where debris from the enemy UAV fell on one of the largest local markets.

On the evening of Wednesday, February 5, Russian occupiers again attacked Kharkiv with a drone. The Kyiv district of the city was hit, where debris from the enemy UAV fell on one of the largest local markets.

This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Oleg Synegubov, and the city's mayor, Igor Terekhov, via Telegram. According to the regional leader, the Russians used a "Geran" drone.

It is known that as a result of the debris falling, there was a fire in the trading pavilions. Currently, there are no reports of casualties or injuries among the civilian population.

“According to updated information, the strike occurred on one of the largest markets in Kharkiv’s Kyiv district, near transport infrastructure. There is a fire in the trading pavilions. No information about casualties has been received at this moment,” Terekhov wrote.

Strikes on Kharkiv and the region

On the night of Wednesday, February 5, Russian troops attacked Kharkiv with drones. There are damages, including to an architectural monument. One person was injured.

Additionally, on Tuesday afternoon, February 4, Russia struck the center of Izium in the Kharkiv region with a ballistic missile. The impact was on an administrative building, specifically the city council. As a result, another administrative building nearby was damaged, as well as multi-story residential buildings.

As a result of the "Iskander" attack, five people lost their lives. Another 55 were injured, including children - a 6-year-old boy, and girls aged 14 and 16. The 14-year-old girl is in serious condition, while the other two are in moderate condition.
