Russian Nebenzya dismissed reports of North Korean troops in Russia as "disinformation," providing his own rationale for this claim.

In Russia, it appears that there is an effort to conceal the presence of North Korean soldiers within the ranks of the Russian army until the last moment. This stance has been adopted by Vasily Nebenzya, Russia's permanent representative to the UN. He claimed that any information regarding the presence of North Korean troops in Russia is supposedly "disinformation."

In Russia, it seems they are trying to hide until the last moment the presence of North Korean soldiers within the ranks of the Russian army. This strategy was chosen by Russia's permanent representative to the UN, Vasily Nebenzya. He claimed that any data regarding the presence of DPRK soldiers in Russia is supposedly "disinformation."

Nebenzya expressed his falsehood during a UN Security Council meeting on October 30. Moreover, he attempted to accuse civilized countries of publishing information about DPRK troops in Russia to "justify NATO's decision to send its forces" to Ukraine.

"As for the transfer of DPRK troops to Russia – this is disinformation. The spectacle we witnessed today is an attempt to justify NATO's own decision to send troops to support the 'regime' of the Ukrainian president," he stated.

However, Nebenzya contradicted himself by claiming after his nonsense about "disinformation" that the DPRK is a close partner of Russia. According to him, Moscow is open to cooperation with Pyongyang.

"This is our sovereign right. I would like to emphasize that the interaction of the Russian Federation with the DPRK in military and other areas does not violate international law, as such cooperation is not directed against any third country," he publicly lied.

DPRK Troops Join Russia

According to Western media, Russia has sent nearly 10,000 soldiers from North Korea, while Ukrainian intelligence estimates their number at no less than 12,000, including 500 officers, among them three generals. Some of them are already in combat zones, particularly in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation, where the Armed Forces of Ukraine are currently conducting operations.

The transfer of troops is happening secretly. They are transported on trucks with civilian license plates.

The Wall Street Journal reported that the DPRK troops arriving in Russia to participate in the war against Ukraine are not the best representatives of Kim Jong-un's army. Among them are young people around 20 years old and even teenagers, indicating chronic malnutrition. DPRK military personnel lack experience in trench warfare and have never left North Korea, receiving training primarily in killing rather than combat actions. Ukrainian experts believe that North Korean soldiers will likely become cannon fodder, having little impact on the course of the war.

At the same time, the National Security and Defense Council urged not to underestimate the DPRK military participating in the war in Ukraine on the side of Russia. This is especially relevant for American media. North Korean soldiers will gain combat experience, and additional resources will be required for their elimination.
