Rescuers from the State Emergency Service (SES) have completed emergency and rescue operations in Zaporizhzhia following yet another terrorist attack by the Russians. As a result of an aerial bomb strike on the evening of December 6, the number of injured has risen to over 20 individuals, including young children. Unfortunately, 10 people lost their lives, 8 of whom were in vehicles at the time of the explosion.
On Saturday, December 7, the SES announced the conclusion of the emergency rescue operation in Zaporizhzhia. According to their information, 24 people were injured, including three children: a 4-month-old infant, and children aged 4 and 11 years. The SES deployed 32 rescuers and 8 units of specialized equipment for the operation. December 7 was declared a day of mourning in Zaporizhzhia for the victims of the Russian attack.
On Friday, December 6, the Russians struck Zaporizhzhia with an aerial bomb. A large fire broke out at a car service station (CSS) at the site of the impact. Emergency services promptly responded to the scene. Most of the deceased burned alive in their own vehicles at the site of the strike. According to the head of the regional military administration, Ivan Fedorov, power outages occurred in some communities and in Zaporizhzhia itself following the strike.
On December 6, Russian occupiers struck Kryvyi Rih with a ballistic missile. By the morning of Saturday, December 7, the death toll from the Russian strike had risen to three individuals. In total, 17 people were injured, including a child. The city has seen numerous destructions, ranging from residential apartment buildings and private homes to an educational institution and vehicles belonging to residents.
At the beginning of December, the Russians attacked Ternopil with kamikaze drones. The attack resulted in a fire in a residential building. At least one person died. The city’s mayor, Serhiy Nadal, reported that a Russian strike drone hit the upper floor of a residential building.
In Kherson, at least three civilians were killed on December 1 due to a drone strike in the Dnipro district of the city. The Russians attacked public transport using UAVs. Eight individuals sustained injuries.
