Ukrainian defense forces struck the Russian oil depot "Atlas": details from the General Staff.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has confirmed an attack on the "Atlas" oil depot located in Russia's Rostov region. A significant fire has erupted at the site, with at least two hotspots of ignition reported. Additionally, the Ukrainian Defense Forces have destroyed a radar station belonging to the Russian occupiers' Buk-M3 missile system.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has confirmed an attack on the "Atlas" oil depot, located in Russia's Rostov region. A large fire broke out at the site, with at least two ignition points recorded. Additionally, the Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed a radar station of the Russian occupiers' Buk-M3 air defense system.

This information was shared by the General Staff on Facebook. The successful operation was carried out by the Armed Forces on the night of November 29.

The "Atlas" oil depot is a crucial component of the Russian military-industrial complex, supplying petroleum products for the needs of the Russian army. As part of the operation, the Armed Forces also destroyed a radar station of the Buk-M3 missile system in the temporarily occupied territory of the Zaporizhzhia region. The successful operation was executed by units of the Special Operations Forces, the Main Intelligence Directorate, and the Armed Forces' Unmanned Systems.

Attack on the Atlas Oil Depot

According to Russian media, the oil depot near the city of Kamensk-Shakhtinsky was attacked by drones. Russian authorities claimed to have allegedly neutralized 30 drones using electronic warfare means.

Earlier, on August 28, this facility was already under attack. Following a drone incursion, a large fire erupted at the oil depot, engulfing the oil storage tanks. Local sources also reported two explosions at the site. At that time, firefighting efforts at the depot lasted for a week.

Moreover, Ukrainian forces continue to actively destroy Russian military facilities. In particular, reconnaissance units destroyed the radar complex "ZooPark", valued at over 1 billion hryvnias. Additionally, in the occupied town of Rovenky in Luhansk, an oil depot was on fire after explosions.
