On the night of Tuesday, February 4, Russian occupiers attacked the Cherkasy region with drones. As a result, fires broke out at three enterprises in Cherkasy. Fortunately, there were no casualties.
This was reported by the head of the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration, Ihor Taburets. According to preliminary data, air defense forces shot down 12 enemy Shaheds in the sky over the region during the night.
Despite this, fires occurred in the regional center due to enemy attacks at three private enterprises. In one case, firefighting efforts were still ongoing as of 8 AM.
Fortunately, there were no injuries. Relevant services are currently assessing the areas and determining the extent of the damage.
According to the Air Forces, on the night of February 4, the occupiers launched 65 Shaheds at Ukraine. Air defense shot down 37 of them in Poltava, Sumy, Kyiv, Chernihiv, and Cherkasy regions.
Another 28 enemy drone imitators were lost in the area without any consequences.
