On March 2, a man passed away at the Territorial Center for Recruitment (TCR) in the Kremenchuk district of Poltava region. The day before, he had been brought to the territorial recruitment center for a military medical commission. The commission declared him fit for service. After that, he was waiting to be sent to a training center. At some point, the man suddenly felt unwell, he lost consciousness and died.
The latest death at the Poltava Regional TCR was reported by the regional TCR of Poltava on Facebook. The military noted that the conscript was taken to the TCR on the morning of March 2, around 10 a.m. He underwent the military medical commission and was deemed fit for service. The man remained at the TCR, waiting for his dispatch to the training center.
Later, the conscript suddenly felt ill. He turned pale and lost consciousness. The TCR called for medical assistance, but resuscitation efforts were unsuccessful. The man died from acute heart failure.
The TCR also added that no measures of influence were applied against the man, and there were no physical injuries on the deceased's body. The military commission has initiated an official investigation into the circumstances of the death.
"Investigative actions are ongoing, and we urge residents to refrain from speculation, assumptions, and manipulation until they are completed," the TCR stated.
Previously, a 44-year-old man died at the Saksahansky TCR in Kryvyi Rih. Later, the Dnipropetrovsk regional TCR clarified that his death resulted from a "sudden deterioration in health." The deceased suffered an epileptic seizure. The man's relatives do not believe this version.
Additionally, the TCR of the Transcarpathian region reported that a conscript died on the way to a training center. According to the military, the man suffered an epileptic seizure. However, the conscript with epilepsy was declared fit for service during the military medical commission.
