The relevant post appeared on Zelensky's page on network X on the night of November 7. The President pointed out that he congratulated Trump on his victory in the U.S. presidential elections and praised the outstanding work of his team.

I had a wonderful phone conversation with President Trump and congratulated him on his historic and convincing victory — this result was made possible by his impressive campaign. I acknowledged his family and team for their excellent work," the message stated.

Zelensky added that during this conversation, they agreed to maintain a close dialogue and develop cooperation between the countries. He emphasized that the leadership of the United States is "vital for the world and for a just peace."

Trump's Victory in the Elections and His Statements

On the morning of November 6, Volodymyr Zelensky congratulated Donald Trump on his victory in the U.S. presidential elections. He emphasized that Ukraine is interested in developing mutually beneficial political and economic cooperation. Additionally, he appreciates the Republican's commitment to the approach of "peace through strength."

All world leaders also congratulated Trump. Kamala Harris, who lost to Trump in the race, and the current president, Joe Biden, were not left out. He promised to transfer power as swiftly and smoothly as possible. Meanwhile, social media exploded with memes.

It is worth noting that in October, Trump stated that the Ukrainian leader should not have allowed the war with Russia to start, despite the fact that the aggressor was indeed the Russian Federation.
