Zelensky met with King Charles III for a brief discussion.

President Volodymyr Zelensky met with King Charles III of the United Kingdom. The meeting took place on the evening of Sunday, February 2nd, and their conversation lasted approximately one hour.

According to Sky News, Zelensky and Charles III briefly chatted and posed for photographs by the entrance before heading inside.

The meeting was held at Sandringham Estate in Norfolk, East England. The President of Ukraine arrived by helicopter after the summit in London. It is also noted that the UK government agreed to the meeting following a request from the Ukrainian leader.

Buckingham Palace released a short statement after Zelensky's visit:

"This evening, His Majesty the King received President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky at the Sandringham Palace salon. The President was warmly welcomed, and the meeting lasted just under an hour."

Zelensky in Britain

On Sunday, March 2, a security summit of European countries took place in London, where the main topic was achieving a just peace in Ukraine. President Volodymyr Zelensky also attended the negotiations. As a result, a number of agreements were reached, including the establishment of a coalition led by the UK and France to oversee the effectiveness of any peace agreement.

Keir Starmer announced the formation of a coalition led by London and Paris, involving other "willing parties." He emphasized that this will not include all of Europe. However, the coalition will ensure the effectiveness of the peace plan regarding Ukraine. Nevertheless, agreements similar to the "Minsk" ones will not be recognized by the EU.

Additionally, the British Prime Minister stated about Europe's involvement in the peace process. This will include European peacekeepers in Ukraine in the form of ground forces and air power. Europe will also insist that Kyiv must be present at the negotiation table.
