The Lviv National Literary and Memorial Museum has recently unveiled a digital collection of works by Ivan Franko, featuring 300 original publications from his lifetime and the restoration of an additional 30 books. These editions are now accessible to the general public via the museum's website, writes Chytomo.
This initiative is part of the project "All Franko: Read, Listen, Watch," under which 30 lifetime editions of Franko have been restored. These books are preserved in the collections of the "Franko House" and the Institute of Franko Studies at Lviv National University.
In total, over 300 original works by Franko have been digitized from museum and institutional collections, as well as from two of Lviv's largest libraries: the Scientific Library of Lviv National University and the Vasyl Stefanyk National Scientific Library of Ukraine.
Digital editions are available for viewing, research, reading, and even downloading for convenient use. The collection includes not only Franko's original prose, poetry, translations, and scholarly and journalistic publications, but also books to which he contributed as an editor, compiler, or author of forewords, afterwords, notes, and comments.
Additionally, we reported on an Iron Age tomb that researchers excavated in Germany.
