The invaders launched 25 shellings in the Sumy region, affecting border communities. This was reported by the Sumy Regional Military Administration, as conveyed by UNN.

As a result of the shellings, the following communities were affected: Khotyn, Yunakivka, Bilopillia, Velykopysarivka, Novoslobidka, Shalyhyn, Druzhba, and Seredyna-Buda.

Nature of the attacks:

• Bilopillia community: mortar shelling (5 explosions) and explosive devices of the VOG type dropped from a drone (3 explosions).
• Velykopysarivka community: recorded 8 explosions from FPV drones and 1 explosion from a VOG dropped from an unmanned aerial vehicle.
• Khotyn community: 5 explosions resulting from strikes by FPV drones.
• Druzhba community: 2 explosions following attacks from FPV drones launched from the territory of the Russian Federation.
• Seredyna-Buda community: 1 explosion from a kamikaze drone strike of the FPV type.
• Novoslobidka community: a similar strike from a kamikaze drone was recorded (1 explosion).
• Shalyhyn community: an explosion resulting from the dropping of ammunition from a drone.
• Yunakivka community: mortar shelling – 3 shells recorded.
