Next week, the House of Representatives of the U.S. Congress will review the annual defense bill, which allocates over $3 billion to support American telecommunications companies in removing equipment from Chinese manufacturers Huawei and ZTE from the country’s wireless networks. The aim of these measures is to mitigate national security risks.

The 1,800-page document, released on Saturday evening, includes several provisions aimed at strengthening opposition to Chinese influence.
