Due to a judicial error, Tyshchenko appeared in Parliament and shared a kiss with Halyna Yanchhenko.

On Wednesday, January 8, MP Mykola Tyshchenko unexpectedly showed up at a session of the Verkhovna Rada. He was supposed to be under house arrest, but the court order had expired, and due to a judicial error, Tyshchenko was granted the opportunity to move freely.
Из-за судебной ошибки Тищенко появился в Раде и поцеловался с Галиной Янченко.

People's deputy Mykola Tyshchenko unexpectedly appeared at a session of the Verkhovna Rada on Wednesday, January 8. He was supposed to be under house arrest, but the relevant court decision had expired, and due to a judicial error, Tyshchenko gained the opportunity for free movement.

Tyshchenko attended the first meeting of the Rada after the New Year on January 8. This was reported by people's deputy Oleksiy Honcharenko. The deputy made a loud statement, claiming that he had completely reconsidered his position and would no longer fight against call centers.

"I had the opportunity to reconsider... I'm turning the page. I realized that this struggle is unnecessary for anyone," Tyshchenko told Honcharenko.

During this conversation, Galina Yanchenko, a deputy from the "Servant of the People" party, approached Mykola Tyshchenko, and he kissed her on the cheek. It is worth noting that Galina Yanchenko is known as a fighter for business rights and has spoken against the arbitrariness of government representatives and corruption. When a military serviceman from the "Kraken" special unit was beaten in Dnipro (for which Tyshchenko is being prosecuted), it was indeed the pressure from government representatives on businesses that Yanchenko had so fervently opposed.

How Tyshchenko Escaped House Arrest

Until December 23, 2024, the deputy was under round-the-clock house arrest. On January 6, the court was supposed to reconsider Tyshchenko's preventive measure, but the session was postponed to January 10.

In December 2024, Tyshchenko failed to appear in court twice. No coercion was applied as the deputy complained about his health. Specifically, on December 23 at four in the morning, Tyshchenko contacted a medical facility in Kyiv, where he was preliminarily diagnosed with ischemic heart disease. This seemingly became the reason for his absence from court.

"And so, under this entire spectacle, our Ukrainian court 'accidentally' forgot to choose a preventive measure for Tyshchenko, as the old one with round-the-clock house arrest expired, and thus, Mr. Kolya had the audacity to come to today's parliamentary session. This is a slap in the face to the Ukrainian people, justice, and fairness, and the personal responsibility for this lies with the guarantor of the Constitution and the one who brought this scoundrel into parliament in his name!" commented the event well-known Ukrainian veteran Oleg Symoroz.

The Tyshchenko Case

In the summer of 2024, on June 21, Mykola Tyshchenko arrived in Dnipro, where he, along with a group of people in uniforms and balaclavas, began yet another "raid" against call centers, which he claimed were illegal. Together with them, these individuals attacked a man in civilian clothes who was walking with a child in broad daylight, after which they unlawfully detained him. The victim turned out to be Dmytro Mazokha, a former military serviceman from the Kraken special unit.

Tyshchenko himself claimed that he had no connection to the scandal. According to him, he was a "victim of provocation" in this situation. Specifically, the deputy announced the exposure of the "largest call center in Dnipro," which, according to him, is controlled by local criminals.

A trial against Tyshchenko is already underway. He was placed under round-the-clock house arrest with an electronic bracelet on June 25, 2024. Since then, the court has repeatedly extended Tyshchenko's preventive measure. According to the court's decision, the people's deputy remained under round-the-clock house arrest until December 23.
