"It's all untrue": Kuleba explains why he avoids watching political films and series (video).

Former Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba prefers to avoid watching films and series about politics, as he enjoys different genres. The diplomat shared his preferences in the podcast "Prama Chervona".

According to him, he prefers watching films that allow viewers to switch off their brains for a while and simply enjoy the visuals. Recently, he watched "Deadpool and Wolverine" from Marvel.

"I categorize all political films into 'close to the truth' and 'completely false,'" — stated Dmytro Kuleba.

As an example, the diplomat mentioned the series "The Diplomat," the second season of which recently premiered on Netflix. The show addresses contemporary issues, including the full-scale war in Ukraine and the West's confrontation with Iran. However, he believes it does not portray the truth.

"I came home, and Svitlana (the former Foreign Minister's partner — ed.) was watching 'The Diplomat.' I sat down with her and watched for 10 minutes. I said it was all false," — claimed Dmytro Kuleba.

Among the films that are "close to the truth," the former head of the diplomatic service named "Wag the Dog," directed by Barry Levinson, as well as the first season of David Fincher's series "House of Cards."

Recall that on November 12, it was reported that former Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba was offered the position of Ukraine's ambassador to the USA, but he declined. The diplomat was one of the candidates to replace Oksana Markarova.

On October 22, Dmytro Kuleba discussed his plans after leaving the ministry. According to him, he is currently working on important issues for the country, but he expects to soon take on some official role.
