In Kryvyi Rih, the mobilization has led to a shortage of qualified personnel capable of activating heating in homes. The city may face a disrupted heating season, leaving around a thousand houses without heat. This is reported on the Facebook page of "Kryvorizhheatcentral".
However, it is noted that "the situation remains complicated," with several reasons behind it.
"Due to mobilization activities, the enterprise is lacking qualified staff, and the shortage has also been felt by the contracting organizations involved in the repair campaign," the publication states.
Representatives of the enterprise also explained the difficulties by mentioning that in March of this year, the accounts of the Kryvyi Rih CHPP were frozen due to multi-million dollar debts of the enterprise. The freezing of accounts prevented timely commencement of repair works.
Another issue, according to the municipal enterprise, is that in the summer of 2023, Russians destroyed the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Station, which deprived the heating networks of water for an extended period. The resulting corrosion damaged the already worn-out pipes.
"Shelling of the city's critical infrastructure leads to hydraulic shocks, which are devastating for the damaged networks.
Despite all of the above, the Kryvyi Rih Heating Company is taking all necessary measures around the clock to provide consumers with heat," the publication assures.
Let us remind you that the Cabinet of Ministers approved new mobilization reservation rules starting December 1.
It was also reported how the summons are being mailed and the consequences for violators.
