A conflict occurred between civilians and military personnel in the village of Dymer in the Kiev region. Footage of the events from January 8 was shared on social media.

According to reports, one of the men was detained for data clarification at the TCC. Along with him were colleagues—a woman and her son—who demanded documents from the military. The TCC staff began to approach their vehicle, and a second man threw an object resembling a stone in their direction.

At that moment, the vehicle, which was already pulling away, stopped, and a soldier got out. He ran towards the woman and her son and struck the latter on the head. The mother began to shout and chase the attacker, and eventually, the victim joined her, opening the door and rushing into the cabin.

After the altercation, the civilian man was pushed out of the vehicle; he picked up what was likely a stone and threw it at the car. The driver accelerated, but the woman couldn't react in time. As a result, she held onto the side door handle and was dragged along the asphalt for a while before finally falling to the ground.

The military did not stop the vehicle and continued driving.

In the released videos, a quarrel filled with profanity can be seen, during which the mother and son demand documents, a scuffle inside the bus, and how the woman fell out of the moving vehicle. The conflict participants exchanged vulgarities, while the civilian man threw what appeared to be stones.

Authorities' Reaction

The press service of the dealer community stated on January 8 that the village council had sent a request to the police and TCC regarding the events that occurred around 13:00 on Osvityanska Street.

At the same time, MP Olga Vasylevska-Smaglyuk from the "Servant of the People" party called the conflict in Dymer an "extraordinary event" and defended the military.

"TCC representatives are not saints. They are as varied as workers in other enterprises, institutions, and organizations. Among them are also those who are bad, and there are those who have demobilized from the front and are trying to help find additional support for comrades who continue to hold the front. And yes, among them could be your son, brother, or relative. By insulting them, throwing stones at them, and cursing—you demean those who liberated us from occupation, those who fell for us. By humiliating them, you demean yourself, your state, and nullify the sacrifice made by the dead for the living," she stated.

The parliamentarian reported that the man detained by the military was wanted, as indicated in the "Oberih" database. According to Vasylevska-Smaglyuk, he was taken to work to leave his things there. However, relatives of the Ukrainian were waiting for him there, who came to his defense and tried to stop the TCC workers. In particular, a 23-year-old "defender" began throwing stones at them.

"Come on, let’s talk like adults. The war has touched and will touch everyone. If you don’t want to fight for your country, you will fight for someone else’s," the deputy assured.

TCC's Reaction

On January 9, the situation was commented on by the Kyiv Regional TCC. The press service explained that a mobile notification group discovered a military obligation who was on the wanted list. He agreed to voluntarily go to the military enlistment office for data clarification and to undergo a medical examination. But first, he needed to deliver products to work.

When the bus arrived at the address, three strangers were already waiting there. They began filming everything on camera and accusing the military of unlawful deprivation of liberty. One man opened the driver's door and struck him several times before being pushed away.

At the same time, from the passenger side, another individual was hitting the soldier, which "damaged the military's jacket." As the vehicle began to move, one of the conflict participants threw a stone at the driver's side window. The second participant held onto the TCC worker's clothing, resulting in her falling.

The military enlistment office noted that the community head had contacted the police to investigate only the actions of the TCC. This reflects the village head's reluctance to comply with the mobilization law.

The press service assured that a service check is underway. The police opened cases for bodily harm against both the military personnel and the local resident. A report was also filed regarding damage to the service vehicle.

Recall that in Zaporizhzhia, passersby helped a draft dodger evade mobilization. Eyewitnesses filmed a crowd urging the man to flee from the TCC representative.

Also, on January 9, news emerged about a conflict in the Kharkiv TCC. According to social media, a lawyer arrived for her client but was forcibly thrown out the door after calling the police.
