In Lutsk, TikTok blogger Maxim Torchilo was standing by the roadside on Sobornosti Avenue on the evening of November 24 with a sign that read: "Honk if the TCC is screwing up." At the end of the video, a patrol police car can be seen stopping next to the blogger. Subsequently, Maxim posted an apology featuring the logo of the National Police, but later explained that he recorded the apology video on his own.
The TikToker Maxim Torchilo appeared with a sign saying "Honk if the TCC is screwing up" near the "Tam Tam" shopping center on Sobornosti Avenue in Lutsk. Towards the end of the video, a police car approached him, and the person filming said, "They are coming for us." Currently, this video is not available on the TikToker's page.
Afterward, Torchilo posted a video in which he allegedly apologized to the TCC for standing near the checkpoint with an offensive sign, promising that it would not happen again. The National Police of Ukraine's logo was superimposed on the video.
In a comment to Volyn News, the press service of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Volyn region stated that the blogger was not detained by law enforcement. He recorded the video himself, having forged the logo. The police also mentioned that they are considering the possibility of holding the TikToker accountable.
Later, the TikToker posted another video explaining that the police did not detain him and did not force him to apologize, and that he recorded the video of his own volition.
"You all saw the video; it spread across all public pages. No one forced me to apologize. I apologized on my own to those who were offended. I apologize once again," Maxim said.
It is worth noting that on November 25, the patrol police of the Volyn region reported that a shooting involving security forces occurred in the city of Kovel. The clash erupted between the drivers of two vehicles.
Additionally, we remind you that on November 19, Ukrainian host and blogger Maxim Uzol revealed that he received a summons from the TCC and showed the document in his stories. Later, he reported that the TCC immediately sent him to undergo a military medical commission.
