The military losses of the aggressor country, Russia, as of November 28 have once again increased. Ukrainian defenders destroyed another 1,220 occupiers in the last day, along with 22 enemy artillery systems, one battle tank, and about a dozen units of special equipment. Consequently, the enemy has suffered significant losses in equipment, and overall, since the beginning of the war, Moscow has lost over 736,000 servicemen.
Updated information regarding the losses suffered by the Russians in personnel and military equipment over the past day was provided by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The military emphasized that since the onset of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation until November 28, the total number of neutralized servicemen has reached a mark of 736,630 occupiers.

The Russians have also incurred losses in equipment over the last day. The enemy has lost the most in automotive equipment, drones, artillery systems, and special equipment. The losses of the Russian Federation in equipment are as follows:
Russian servicemen have begun to desert the battlefield en masse. Not only ordinary soldiers are fleeing from their positions, but also officers. According to the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), desertion rates among the Russians have risen. For instance, over a thousand soldiers (which is nearly a battalion) have deserted from the Russian 20th Motorized Rifle Division. Among the reasons for desertion, the occupiers cite high losses and poor staffing for combat operations.
The reasons for desertion are easily explained by British data on the average daily losses of the Russian Federation. In October alone, these reached record levels. According to Admiral and Commander of the British Armed Forces Tony Radakin, the Russians were losing 1,500 soldiers daily. By the end of October, the total number of losses in the Russian Federation crossed the mark of 700,000 occupiers.
The enemy is also losing servicemen in the Kursk region. According to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, since the beginning of the military operation in this Russian region, the enemy has lost 20,000 servicemen as of early November 2024. The significant losses in personnel have compelled the Russian Federation to seek assistance from North Korea for manpower.
