The Russian army continues to suffer losses in personnel and military equipment at the front in Ukraine. The total military losses of the enemy as of the morning of January 11 have reached a new milestone of over 806,000 invaders. The Russians have also lost a significant amount of combat equipment, including tanks, air defense systems, and artillery units.
New data on the total military losses of the Russian Federation has been released by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The military reported that since the beginning of the war, Russia has already lost 806,500 servicemen. The enemy's equipment losses are as follows:
- tanks (+10) units,
- armored combat vehicles – 20,271 (+18) units,
- artillery systems – 21,817 (+28) units,
- multiple launch rocket systems – 1,260 (+0) units,
- air defense systems – 1,042 (+1) units,
- aircraft – 369 units,
- helicopters – 331 units,
- unmanned aerial vehicles of various types – 21,958 (+74) units,
- cruise missiles – 3,017 units,
- ships / boats – 28 units,
- submarines – 1 unit,
- automotive equipment and fuel tankers – 33,534 (+61) units,
- special equipment – 3,692 (+3) units.
Military losses of the Russian Federation
Fighters from the 47th Brigade "Magura" along with their counterparts from the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled a massive assault by the Russians in the Kursk region. Almost a company of invaders has been neutralized. Additionally, Ukrainian military forces destroyed dozens of enemy vehicles worth millions of dollars.
Operators of the Main Intelligence Directorate eliminated the chief of staff of the Russian army battalion "Storm-Ossetia" in the Zaporizhzhia direction. The Russian officer Sergey Melnikov was killed along with his personal vehicle and driver.
