"Sending the entire nation to the front isn't feasible," a military official commented on the mobilization of 18-year-olds.

According to Andrei Krivushenko, there is no rush to mobilize 18-year-old Ukrainians, as the country will need fresh minds to help rebuild Ukraine after victory.
"Мы не можем отправить всю нацию на фронт": военный прокомментировал мобилизацию 18-летних.

There is no need to mobilize 18-year-old Ukrainians and send the entire nation to the front lines, as Ukrainians are fighting not just for territory, but for the preservation of their nation. This was stated by Senior Lieutenant Andrey Krivushenko, an officer in the operational planning section of the "Svoboda" battalion, during a broadcast on the "Kyiv24" channel.

"When it comes to preserving the nation, we cannot send the entire nation to the front, leaving behind those we are protecting and need to save," Krivushenko said.

He explained that the essence of the struggle is not only to fight and maintain Ukrainian territories but also to preserve the nation.

Furthermore, the serviceman emphasized that after victory, it will be necessary to rebuild Ukraine.

"This will also require young bright minds who are currently in training, who will study, become specialists, and effectively lift our country from its knees after more than 10 years of intense struggle for our Independence. We need to rebuild both the economic and social aspects of our state. Therefore, I see no sense in hastening the mobilization of 18-year-olds," Krivushenko stressed.

It is worth noting that on November 27, Reuters published a report stating that the USA is urging Ukraine to consider lowering the mobilization age to 18.

On the same day, the Office of the President responded to the US call for the mobilization of Ukrainians starting at age 18.
