You can obtain your pension certificate through the "Diiа" app. Here's how to do it.

The Pension Fund of Ukraine has launched a service for issuing pension certificates — now it is possible to obtain an e-certificate and use it in "Diia" without a paper version. This was reported by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

The advantages of such a document include speed, convenience, and security. The government noted that to obtain it, individuals must be registered in the Register of Insured Persons of the Pension Fund.

How to order an electronic certificate

The steps to obtain an e-certificate are as follows:

• log into the PFU web portal;
• go to the "About Pension Provision" section;
• select "Application for Issuance of Pension Certificate" and navigate to "Electronic Certificate (without paper original)";
• fill out and submit the application. The result of the review will be available in the "My Requests" section, after which the ready pension certificate will appear in "Diia".

For disability certificates, those related to the loss of a breadwinner, or for length of service, they need to be added manually. To do this, scroll through the documents in "Diia" and select "Add Document — Pension Certificate".

The Pension Fund noted that the e-pension certificate confirms the fact of pension assignment and does not require additional presentation of a paper equivalent. It can be obtained even faster than the regular document.

This document will be beneficial for pensioners who are abroad and cannot visit Ukraine to obtain a paper certificate. Additionally, this service will be useful for those who, for various reasons, cannot receive the document at the service centers of the Pension Fund of Ukraine.

Overall, according to the PFU, there are already three types of pension certificates available in Ukraine:

• paper pension certificate, which can be obtained by filling out a form at the service center of the Pension Fund of Ukraine or by submitting an application for document issuance through the PFU electronic services web portal or the "Diia" mobile application;
• electronic pension certificate in the form of a payment card, which was issued by JSC "Oschadbank";
• e-pension certificate.

We remind you that in 2025, pensions will be increased. This will primarily affect citizens who have long been retired.

Additionally, some women in Ukraine have the opportunity to retire early. This applies to women aged 50 with the necessary insurance experience.
