After the arrest of a 37-year-old man suspected of carrying out a terrorist attack in Dnipro, his accomplices—a husband and wife—were also detained. They used their own three-year-old child as a cover during the crime, reports the Main Directorate of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk region.

Using instructions from Russia, they created an improvised explosive device for the attack, concealed it in a bag, placed it in a pre-determined location, and monitored it until the "executor" picked up the bag. To divert suspicion from themselves, the couple took their own three-year-old child with them.
Police reported that the couple had planned to carry out another attack in the city. Authorities managed to prevent it.
Currently, all three are detained and in custody. They have been charged under Part 2, 3 of Article 258 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (terrorist act) and Part 1 of Article 14 (preparation for a crime). They all face life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
