On the evening of November 23, Russian occupants launched strike drones of the "Shahed" type over the territory of Ukraine, causing debris to fall and ignite part of a clinic in the Dnipro district of Kyiv. This was reported by Kyiv's mayor, Vitaliy Klitschko.
"In the Dnipro district, as a result of drone debris falling, the external cladding of the clinic's building caught fire. Preliminary reports indicate damage to neighboring houses," Klitschko wrote.
He later clarified that the fire on the facade of the clinic building was extinguished.
"The wall of the facility was also damaged, windows were shattered, and trees in the yard were broken," Klitschko noted.
The mayor of Kyiv reported that a security guard of the medical institution was injured in the Russian attack and was hospitalized.
The State Emergency Service also reported on the incident.
"Upon arrival, rescuers determined that as a result of the drone falling in an open area near the two-story children's clinic, the external cladding of the facade, the entrance area, and windows were damaged," the statement said.
According to the rescuers, when firefighters arrived, there was no fire observed at the clinic.
Prior to this, the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine warned that enemy drones were in the capital and urged people to seek shelter.
