Russian propagandist Martemyanov has been eliminated in Donbas.

On January 4th, a drone strike in the Donetsk region resulted in the death of Alexander Martemyanov, a freelance correspondent for the Russian propaganda television channel "Izvestia." Several other Russian propagandists were also injured in the attack, which targeted a vehicle on the Donetsk-Horlivka highway.

On January 4, Alexander Martemyanov, a freelance correspondent for the Russian propaganda television channel "Izvestia," was killed by a drone strike in the Donetsk region. Several other Russian propagandists were injured alongside him. The drone targeted their vehicle on the Donetsk-Horlivka highway.

Freelance correspondent for "Izvestia," Alexander Martemyanov, lost his life due to a drone attack on his vehicle in the Donetsk region. Russian media report that the drone struck the car carrying the propagandists on the Donetsk-Horlivka highway. He succumbed to his injuries. Earlier, in late October 2023, Alexander Martemyanov had already been wounded near Donetsk and was hospitalized with injuries to both legs.

Other propagandists were also injured. In particular, the agency РИА Новости claims that its employee Maxim Romanenko suffered a concussion and facial scratches. Reports from Russia indicated that they were being taken to one of the hospitals in Donetsk.

On January 4, the Main Intelligence Directorate (HUR) reported that as a result of an explosion, Russian commander Konstantin Nagayko, involved in the strike on a café in the village of Groza in the Kharkiv region in 2023, which resulted in the deaths of 59 Ukrainian civilians, was severely injured. According to Ukrainian intelligence, Nagayko sustained serious injuries from the explosion at a military unit in the city of Shuya in Ivanovo Oblast, Russia, and is in critical condition in the hospital.

On December 28, Russian media reported that the editor of "Izvestia," Maxim Eliseev, had died in Ukraine. In November, during an assault in the Donetsk direction, the author of the Russian propaganda Telegram channel "Archangel of Z Special Forces" was eliminated. This refers to a Z-propagandist named Yegor (callsign "Shield"), with Russian media indicating his real surname as Yegor Kapinsky. Additionally, in November, Russian media reported that in Chasiv Yar, Donetsk region, the Ukrainian Defense Forces eliminated Russian propagandist and RT (Russia Today) producer Magomed Buchayev.
