Russian troops launched a massive attack on Ukraine again on the morning of November 28. The primary targets were energy facilities, with reports of strikes. As a result, emergency power outages were implemented.
This was reported by the Minister of Energy, Herman Halushchenko. According to him, the strikes on energy facilities are occurring throughout the country.
"Once again, the energy sector is under a massive attack from the enemy. Attacks on energy facilities are happening across Ukraine. As soon as the security situation allows, the consequences of the strikes will be clarified," the minister noted.
Halushchenko added that, following the directive from Ukrenergo, emergency power outages were urgently introduced in several regions of Ukraine. Specifically, these are in effect in Kyiv, Kyiv region, Odesa region, Dnipropetrovsk region, and Donetsk region.
It is already known that during the enemy's massive strike, the Volyn region was also affected. According to information from the OVA, there have been strikes in the region.
"Emergency power outages have also been implemented," stated the head of the Volyn OVA, Ivan Rudnytsky.
In the morning of November 28, Russia attacked Ukraine with missiles. The enemy launched cruise missiles from Tu-95MS. "Kalibr" missiles are also in the air.
The head of the Center for Countering Disinformation (CCD) under the National Security and Defense Council, Andriy Kovalенко, reported that the Russians have resources for such attacks until the end of winter. According to him, the enemy does not plan to change its strategy and is stockpiling.
"The Russians continue their terror tactics. They have stockpiled missiles for strikes on Ukrainian infrastructure, for war against civilians during the cold, throughout the winter. They are aided by their crazy allies, including from North Korea. Currently, the Russians are conducting a combined shelling of the country. They are even fighting against children. Ukraine has the means to respond," said the head of the Office of the President, Andriy Yermak.
