On January 6, Russian occupiers launched one of the most intense bombardments of the Zaporizhzhia region. The enemy fired 542 times, targeting 12 settlements across the region. The Russians attacked using both artillery and multiple launch rocket systems. They conducted airstrikes and deployed drones for their assaults. Fortunately, there were no casualties, but there is destruction of residential buildings.
The head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov, spoke about the consequences of the Russian shelling in Zaporizhzhia. He emphasized that the Russian bombardments reached a total of 542 strikes.
The Russians carried out 13 airstrikes. The towns under attack included Huliaipole, Novoandriivka, Novopavlivka, and Temyrivka.
The enemy used drones for their attacks. A total of 353 drones of various types were employed by the Russian Federation. The occupiers targeted Kamianske, Prymorske, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Novoandriivka, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Bilohirya, and Novodarivka.
Russians also shelled from multiple launch rocket systems. There were 14 such attacks. Locations under fire included Stepnohirs'k, Novoandriivka, Novodanylivka, and Mala Tokmachka.
The Russian Federation attacked with artillery 162 times. They struck Kamianske, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Novoandriivka, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Bilohirya, and Novodarivka.
As a result of the Russian attacks, homes of civilians were damaged. A total of five reports were recorded. Fortunately, there were no casualties or injuries.
Shelling in Zaporizhzhia
On January 4, the Russian Federation heavily bombarded the Zaporizhzhia region. The enemy carried out 341 strikes across 13 settlements in the area. The Russians used drones, heavy artillery, multiple launch rocket systems, and conducted air bomb attacks. As a result of these attacks, one person died and another was injured in the Vasylivka district.
On January 5, the Russians continued to strike the Zaporizhzhia region. The enemy inflicted 370 strikes across the region. Ten settlements were under attack. The airstrikes and assaults using MLRS and drones resulted in damage to residential buildings and infrastructure.
