Overall, seven people were injured from the Russian attack, and the exact number of casualties is still being determined. Law enforcement is already active in the area, documenting crimes against civilians.
"Police are interviewing citizens, documenting the consequences of enemy attacks, collecting evidence of yet another crime by Russia, and ensuring public order. A total of 54 personnel have been deployed by the police," the statement reads.
In the Odesa region, as a result of a massive attack on Sunday, November 17, two people were killed. A 17-year-old boy was also injured. The attack caused damage to the region's energy infrastructure.
Additionally, in the Odesa region, the number of fatalities increased due to the Russian attack on October 9. Three port workers, who sustained serious injuries and were hospitalized, have died, bringing the total number of fatalities to nine. Seven more injured individuals continue to receive medical care in healthcare facilities.
On October 9, a missile struck the port infrastructure of the Odesa region. Initially, it was reported that six people had died, and eight others were injured. The attack targeted the container ship Shui Spirit, registered under the Panamanian flag. This marks the third foreign vessel attacked by Russia in the past four days. All the victims were Ukrainians, four of whom were in critical condition.
On the same day, Russian occupants also attacked the Odesa region with drones. The strikes damaged high-rise buildings, an unfinished construction site, and a hospital. Five people lost their lives.
