Russians have occupied Novoselidivka and Petrivka in the Donetsk region, according to DeepState.

The Russian Army continues to advance in the Donetsk and Kharkiv regions. In addition to occupying two settlements in the hottest section of the front, the enemy has also made progress near another twelve villages in the area. Fierce battles are ongoing.

This was reported by DeepState analysts on the night of November 27, along with the release of an updated combat map. According to their information, the Russians have advanced in the Pokrovsk, Kurakhiv, and Vremiv directions. They have also managed to push our troops back near two villages in the Kupiansk area of Kharkiv Oblast.

"The enemy has occupied Novoselidivka and Petrivka, and has also advanced near Novomlynsk, Zhovte, Pustynka, Pushkine, Rozdolne, Rozliv, Veselyi Hay, Rivnopil, Sontsivka, in Kruhlyakivka, Berestki, and Kurakhove," the report states.

Russian Offensive in Donetsk

The occupiers continue to advance along the entire front line. The situation is most difficult in Donetsk, where fierce battles are taking place. Over the past seven days, Russian troops have set a record for advancement this year, occupying 235 square kilometers of Ukrainian territory. This has marked the fastest pace of the enemy's offensive in all of 2024.

In total, the Russian army has established control over 18% of Ukraine, including all of Crimea, most of Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions. The pace of the offensive has increased significantly in the Donetsk region, where the main battles are concentrated around Kurakhove.

According to some analysts, the war in Ukraine is entering a new phase and could become the most dangerous period of the conflict. For this reason, British Defense Minister John Healey believes that it is necessary to double support for Kyiv. He also noted that efforts are currently underway to strengthen NATO's eastern flank.

Meanwhile, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi announced a new counteroffensive during a meeting with military bloggers. He stated that Russia cannot be defeated if the Armed Forces of Ukraine remain solely in defensive positions. Therefore, Kyiv must seize the initiative in the war and begin counterattacking.
