Скандал вокруг PIN-UP: суд оставил под стражей владельца онлайн-казино Игоря Зотька.

The Pechersk District Court of Kyiv has made a decision regarding the preventive measure for the nominal owner of the online casino PIN-UP, Ihor Zotyka. The court ruled to keep him in custody during the pre-trial investigation.

The defense lawyers intend to appeal this decision and seek a change in the preventive measure. This was reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing the ruling following the court session.

What Zotyka is suspected of

Ihor Zotyka was detained on January 10. According to reports from the State Bureau of Investigations (DBR), the investigation established that the detained individual did not have legal sources to contribute 30 million UAH to the authorized capital of the legal entity that received the license. In particular, he was in Cyprus, where he communicated with citizens of Russia, the actual owners of the online casino.

Evidence confirms the casino's connections with representatives from Russia and Russian capital, as well as with sanctioned entities in Ukraine. The business related to the online casino operates in the territory of the so-called "LPR," which funds the Russian security forces, the defense industry, and aggression against Ukraine. Furthermore, the individual controlling the casino's activities financed veterans of the "SVO" after Russia's invasion. The casino continues to operate on the territory of the Russian Federation and through Russian web resources.
