Генеральная прокуратура выдвинула новое обвинение Дубинскому за торговлю уклонистами.

Prosecutors from the Office of the Attorney General have submitted an indictment to the court against Ukrainian MP Oleksandr Dubinsky and his former assistant. They are accused of assisting in the illegal departure of citizens beyond the borders of the state (Part 2 of Article 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). If found guilty, the suspects face up to seven years in prison.

The investigation revealed that in August 2022, the MP, along with his former assistant, who heads a public organization, organized the departure abroad of his civil partner's brother. This individual left Ukraine through one of the checkpoints, using a vehicle.

For crossing the border, documents registered in the "Shlyakh" system were utilized. Permission was obtained at the request of the Vyshgorod District Military Administration, which was prepared with the support of the MP and his public organization. Despite the stated purposes of the trip, the MP's "relative" actually secured employment on a marine vessel abroad and did not carry out any transport for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. At the end of 2022, the man returned to Ukraine after his contract ended.

However, in 2023, the accused helped him illegally leave Ukraine again. This time, he posed as a volunteer driver, even though the accused were aware that he had not undertaken any humanitarian missions previously.

As before, the man traveled to Moldova, using documents from KOVA issued at the request of a public organization. After crossing the border, he was supposed to wait in Chișinău for further instructions. Under the direction of the MP, his task was to drive the MP's private car from Chișinău Airport to Vienna, Austria.

After his second departure from Ukraine, the man did not return. The pre-trial investigation in this case was conducted by the Main Investigative Department of the State Bureau of Investigation, with operational support from the State Bureau of Investigation and the Security Service of Ukraine.

The press service of the Prosecutor General's Office did not disclose the name of the MP who has been notified of suspicion under Article 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (illegal transportation of persons across the state border). However, published photos and prior notifications from law enforcement indicate that it concerns Dubinsky.

Scandalous Cases of Oleksandr Dubinsky: Searches and Suspicions

At the beginning of November 2024, law enforcement conducted searches at the home of MP Oleksandr Dubinsky. He has been suspected of involvement in organizing the illegal departure of men from the country. As evidence, an audio recording was released in which Dubinsky allegedly explains to a relative of his partner how to obtain forged documents for crossing the border.

Searches were also conducted at the associates of the MP, who, according to the investigation, participated in the scheme of illegal transportation of conscription-age men during mobilization. Among those involved in the case is a member of the Kyiv City Council.

This is not the first instance of accusations against Dubinsky. In August of last year, employees of the Security Service of Ukraine and the State Bureau of Investigation already conducted searches at his premises, after which the MP was officially suspected of providing false information in official documents. According to the investigation, he falsified the reasons for traveling abroad, claiming that he was accompanying his father for medical treatment. Meanwhile, it is noted that Dubinsky left on June 27 and returned only a month later, on July 27.

It should be noted that the Kyiv Court of Appeal upheld the decision of the Pechersk District Court of Kyiv, which found MP Oleksandr Dubinsky guilty of committing an administrative offense related to corruption. As a result, he will be added to the register of corrupt officials. This decision is not subject to appeal.
