In the Cherkasy region, the system for alerting about aerial threats from Russian shelling is being updated. Starting January 10, a pilot project will be implemented in the area: in the event of a threat of Russian drone attacks, the alarm signal will be activated in districts where drones have been directly detected. If there is a threat of a missile strike, however, the air raid alarm will be sounded for the entire region. These changes are being introduced to ensure stable operations in enterprises and organizations.
About the changes in the alert system in Cherkasy, announced the head of the Cherkasy Regional State Administration, Ihor Taburets. According to him, the new modifications have been approved by relevant services and military authorities:
According to Taburets, the changes are being implemented considering the number of alerts. The region aims to ensure stable operations in enterprises, organizations, and institutions.
