On Thursday, regional authorities also reported that four more individuals fell victim to Russian airstrikes across the country the night before.
Two civilians were killed in Kherson Oblast, one in Zaporizhzhia, and one in Donetsk Oblast.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine stated that on the night of January 2, Russia launched 72 drones.
According to military sources, 47 of them were shot down, while 24 were lost locally without negative consequences.
As a result of Russian shelling in Kharkiv Oblast, civilian infrastructure, buildings, and a vehicle were damaged, with no casualties reported among the civilian population.
