Dismissal not possible: The OGP found no evidence of "fake" disabilities among prosecutors in the Khmelnytskyi region.

The concluding section states that it is not possible to objectively confirm or refute the media reports regarding the unlawful acquisition of disability by prosecutors without conducting procedural actions.
Уволить нельзя: ОГП не обнаружил подтверждений "фейковой" инвалидности у прокуроров Хмельницкой области.

The Office of the Prosecutor General has not dismissed any of the 67 prosecutors from Khmelnytskyi, about whom journalists reported that they had obtained "fake" disabilities. This was reported by the Anti-Corruption Center.

In this regard, the Anti-Corruption Center sent a request to the Office of the Prosecutor General regarding a service investigation into the disability claims of prosecutors in the Khmelnytskyi region. However, the Office of the Prosecutor General stated that it could not even confirm the fact of unlawful disability claims by any of the 67 prosecutors of the Khmelnytskyi Prosecutor's Office.

"As a result of the service investigation, a conclusion was drawn on 12.09.2024, which was approved by the acting Prosecutor General on 12.13.2024. The resolution part of the conclusion indicates that, given the limited resources of the service investigation, it is objectively impossible to confirm or deny the media information regarding prosecutors using their official powers or status and related opportunities to obtain disabilities without conducting procedural actions and making procedural decisions in criminal proceedings," the Prosecutor General's Office noted in response to the Anti-Corruption Center's inquiry.

The Anti-Corruption Center emphasizes that the Prosecutor General's Office could not confirm the forgery of disabilities, and therefore could not dismiss the prosecutors with "disabilities."

Earlier, the Office of the Prosecutor General also reported that during the service investigation into abuses related to obtaining disabilities, 5 prosecutors were dismissed, and another 7 were removed from administrative positions. However, the Prosecutor General's Office did not specify that this referred specifically to the dismissal of Khmelnytskyi prosecutors.

It should be noted that earlier Yuriy Butusov reported that the head of the Medical and Social Expert Commission, Tatyana Krupa, issued "disabilities" for nearly 50 prosecutors in the Khmelnytskyi region. Among the entire leadership of the regional prosecutor's office and its structural subdivisions, only the head of the Kamianets-Podilskyi District Prosecutor's Office, Oleksandr Honchar, did not apply for a pension.

Subsequently, the prosecutor of the Khmelnytskyi region, Oleksiy Oleynik, responded to the spread of information about the fictitious disability group involving 50 prosecutors from the Khmelnytskyi region. He found himself on the list but noted that he sustained his injury at work and had registered his disability before the full-scale invasion began.
