In Odessa, a washing machine exploded, damaging a room and injuring a child (photos included).
On Thursday, January 2, a fire broke out on the 3rd floor of a five-story residential building on Ivan and Yuri Lip Street (formerly Gaidar Street) in the Khadjibey district of Odessa. This was reported by the State Emergency Service.
It turned out that a washing machine caught fire in the apartment.
1 Rescuers found that an interior partition was destroyed and the walls in two adjacent apartments were damaged.

Local Telegram channels report that the father was in the apartment with the children at the time. The child with a broken arm was taken by ambulance.
