A powerful "bang" arrived in temporarily occupied Berdyansk on the night of November 23. Explosions were heard near the port, and there were hits recorded. However, there is currently no information regarding the consequences of the attack.
The Berdyansk city military administration reported the attack on Telegram. According to their information, the city was targeted by Ukrainian military forces. A column of smoke is visible in the area of the local port. It remains unclear whether the target was hit.
"A loud explosion was heard in Berdyansk. Preliminary reports indicate there was a hit on the port," the message states.
Neither the Ukrainian nor the Russian side has commented on the incident so far. It is even unclear what weapon was used to strike and who is responsible.
"Bang" has become a frequent visitor in occupied Crimea and in the temporarily occupied territories. For instance, on July 19, UAVs attacked the peninsula. Russian air defense shot down five of them over Crimea and the Black Sea area. Additionally, drones attacked the peninsula from the air and the sea on July 18. The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that 33 UAVs were supposedly downed by Russian air defense. Besides the drones, the peninsula was also attacked by ten unmanned boats, which were also claimed to be "destroyed."
On July 15, explosions were reported at Cape Fiolent. There, Ukrainian forces struck part of the Russian Armed Forces. This position of the Russians consists of a division of the S-400/S-300 air defense system within the 12th missile air defense regiment of the RF. One of the radar stations was hit.
It is known that the logistics for the Russian occupiers in Berdyansk have been significantly complicated - GUR MO scouts, together with local partisans, conducted a sabotage operation, destroying the local railway bridge. Russia used this bridge to supply fuel and armaments to its military.
