Response from Volodymyr Zelensky to the Zaporizhzhia Shelling

President Volodymyr Zelensky also responded to the Russian strike on the city. He noted that there is nothing more brutal than aerial bombs falling on a city with the knowledge that ordinary civilians will suffer.

"There needs to be pressure on Russia for terrorism. We must support the protection of lives in Ukraine," the head of state wrote, emphasizing that ending such a war with a lasting peace is only possible through strength.

Recall that on New Year's Eve, from December 31 to January 1, Russian occupation forces struck Zaporizhzhia.
