Russia's losses in Ukraine have surpassed 800,000 invaders, according to the General Staff.

In the past 24 hours, Ukrainian forces have eliminated an additional 1,970 Russian occupiers. As a result, on Tuesday, January 7, Russia's losses in the war in Ukraine have surpassed 800,000 soldiers. In addition to the enemy's manpower, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have also significantly reduced the enemy's armored vehicles.

Ukrainian military forces have eliminated another 1,970 Russian occupiers over the past day. As a result, on Tuesday, January 7, Russia's losses in the war in Ukraine have surpassed 800,000 soldiers. In addition to the enemy's manpower, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have also significantly reduced the enemy's armored vehicles.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on the new combat losses of the enemy in the war. It was noted that during the previous day, December 6, Ukrainian fighters managed to destroy, in particular, 25 armored vehicles, 45 artillery systems, four air defense systems, and 10 tanks.

Russia's losses

As a reminder, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, stated that throughout 2024, Russia paid the highest price for the war it initiated against Ukraine. The enemy's military losses over the past year have exceeded more than 421,000 wounded and killed.

In October 2024, Russia set an absolute record for personnel losses - 41,980 individuals (according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine). However, in November 2024, this record was updated - 45,720 killed and wounded occupiers.
