Я русский: в Киеве подростки пели русские песни и блокировали движение, чтобы просто покурить.

A group of teenagers in Kyiv has found itself at the center of a scandal - they blocked traffic in the city center to smoke, cut off cars, threw around dollars, and listened to Russian music, even as they passed by the memorial for fallen soldiers. All these actions were recorded on video. The police have already identified the children, and discussions are ongoing with them and their parents.

The videos filmed by the teenagers spread online on January 10. In the footage, the boys show off their driving on Khreshchatyk, tossing around dollars (likely fake), cutting off cars, and unabashedly playing and listening to Russian music, including the song "I am Russian."

Additionally, the so-called "rich kids" blocked traffic near Arena City "to smoke." In the video, one of the participants also stated that "all problems will be solved by 'gifts' from their parents."

Police Reaction

The Kyiv police have already identified all participants in the video. Juvenile officers are currently in communication with the teenagers and their parents.

The police also clarified that one of the participants had previously been involved in similar videos featuring Russian music. At that time, he was held accountable under Article 436-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, and the court decided to impose a probation supervision penalty for one year.

Law enforcement officials noted that after the investigation is completed, a legal assessment of the actions of each of the six individuals involved will be provided.
