Parts and the project were already known: the Patriot can operate in "Oreshnik," according to an expert (video).

Dmitry Snegirev pointed out that the Kremlin's "scare tactics with superweapons" against the West are no longer effective. He assured that attempts to undermine support for Ukraine through the new missile have failed.
Эксперт утверждает, что запчасти и проект уже известны: Patriot может функционировать на "Орешнике" (видео).

Ukraine possesses weaponry effective against the medium-range ballistic missile "Oreshnik". This was stated by military expert Dmitry Snegirev in a comment to "Espreso" on November 29.

The activist noted that the Kremlin's current "red lines" include the potential transfer of nuclear weapons to Ukraine. Previously, NATO expansion was considered such a line. According to Snegirev, Moscow realizes that the "scare tactics with superweapons" are no longer effective.

"Was there any reaction from Western countries regarding the tests of the 'Oreshnik'? Yes, but not the one that (Vladimir. — Ed.) Putin expected," he assured.

The expert explained that the Netherlands provided the Armed Forces of Ukraine with three launchers of the Patriot system. This delivery significantly bolstered Ukraine's missile defense and air defense capabilities.

"By the way, Patriot can target the warheads of this 'Oreshnik', or 'Kedr' as it's classified in Ukraine," he pointed out.

Furthermore, the West unanimously declared that the pace of military assistance to Ukraine will not decrease. According to British intelligence, "Oreshnik" is likely a working title for the RS-26 project. Snegirev emphasized that in Russia, it was known as an unrealized missile project that was "shelved" back in 2011.

"The West fully understands what they are dealing with. Moreover, debris from the so-called 'Oreshnik' site contained parts used in intercontinental ballistic missiles like 'Bulava'," he confirmed.

The expert noted that these missiles have been on combat duty since 2012.

"Therefore, any claims about cutting-edge technologies from Putin are questions that should be directed solely at Putin himself," he added.

Recall that on November 22, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that the "Oreshnik" missile had successfully completed tests and would be used in the future. He emphasized that "no one in the world has such weapons yet."

Reuters reported that the ballistic missile launched over the Dnipro carried several warheads, but without explosives.
