Russian forces struck an industrial facility in Zaporizhzhia.
The head of the regional military administration, Ivan Fedorov, reported on Telegram that at least 13 people have died and around 30 have been injured.
Local authorities have not specified which enterprise was targeted.
According to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, "there is nothing more brutal than conducting airstrikes on a city, knowing that ordinary civilians will suffer."
"Pressure must be applied on Russia for its terror. The protection of people's lives in Ukraine must be supported. Only through strength can this war end in lasting peace," Zelensky stated.
Photos and videos released by local authorities show extensive destruction.
The National Police of Ukraine reported that the strike was carried out using guided aerial bombs, with explosions occurring near an administrative building belonging to an infrastructure facility and along the roadway. A total of 28 vehicles were damaged.
