Missile Strike on Ukraine December 25: Details

On Christmas night, December 25, the enemy launched Caliber cruise missiles from the Black Sea into Ukrainian territory. Additionally, there were reports of launch maneuvers with Tu-95MS in the Engels area.

Shortly after, explosions were heard in several cities across Ukraine. In particular, it was loud in Kharkiv, Kremenchuk, and Dnipro. "Ukrenergo" reported that power restrictions are being implemented due to the Russian attack.

According to Energy Minister Herman Halushchenko, Russian forces are heavily attacking the energy system. He noted that necessary measures are being taken to limit consumption in order to minimize negative impacts on the energy system.

DTEK has implemented power outage schedules in Kyiv, Dnipro, and Odesa. The corresponding directive was issued by "Ukrenergo".

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky responded to the missile attack, stating that the enemy's goal is Ukrainian energy. The occupiers aim to plunge the country into a blackout.
