On the morning of October 31, debris from a downed enemy drone fell in the Podilskyi district of Kyiv, igniting grass at the crash site, while windows in nearby buildings were shattered. At the time of publication, there was no information about casualties, noted the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Serhiy Popko.

Enemy drones attacked the capital throughout the night from various directions but were neutralized by air defense and electronic warfare systems. Air raid sirens were activated twice during the night, lasting for two and a half hours, according to the administration.

In the Podilskyi district, a fire broke out in open terrain due to the falling debris, which has since been extinguished by firefighters. The shockwave damaged windows in two residential buildings and an administrative structure, reported the Kyiv City State Administration (KCSA). There were also reports that the debris damaged a high-voltage power line.

The State Emergency Service reported that the fire in Podil originated on a construction site, igniting a grassy area of 50 square meters, which was quickly extinguished. Firefighters provided information that windows were damaged in three adjacent five-story residential buildings and a two-story administrative building.

No information about casualties was provided at the time of the news publication.

Serhiy Popko remarked that October had been tense for the capital due to air attacks: over the month, Russians struck Kyiv with drones 20 times. Kyiv residents experienced only one day without alerts out of thirty-one, with sirens sounding on average twice a day.

"This indicates a constant, systematic terror against the peaceful civilian population of Ukraine. But we must withstand all of the enemy's challenges. Therefore, I urge Kyiv residents and visitors to be conscious and disciplined. Always follow the rules of conduct during air raid alerts — head to shelters! Take care of yourselves!" — wrote the head of the KCSA.

On the evening of October 30, the Russian Federation also struck Kharkiv with an aerial bomb. A residential building in the Saltivskyi district was hit, resulting in the near-total destruction of one entrance and many injuries.
