"Нафтогаз" выделит около 4,6 млн гривен для поиска нового CEO: кто станет обладателем этих средств?

The National Joint Stock Company "Naftogaz of Ukraine" is seeking a new chairman and is reaching out to recruitment agencies for assistance. A new multi-million tender has appeared in the ProZorro system.

The anticipated costs for the search are nearly 4.57 million hryvnias, with the bidding scheduled for December 31, 2024. The tender documentation outlines the stages of the process, with the first stage called "detailed monitoring." The contractor will monitor the labor market, select candidates, and provide the client with all relevant information within 10 working days from the date of signing the contract.

The second stage also lasts 10 days and involves candidate selection, conducting interviews, and creating a shortlist of 3-5 individuals. Following this, the third stage will take place — organizing interviews and final selection.

The tender documentation also specifies the qualification requirements for the chairman of "Naftogaz." First and foremost, the candidate must have confirmed operational management experience over the last 10 years in positions such as general director, board member, or supervisory board member in large leading companies in the hydrocarbon extraction or energy sectors.

Preference will be given to candidates with experience working in Ukraine and in-depth knowledge of leading global practices and trends in the oil and gas industry.

It is worth noting that a missile strike by the Russian Armed Forces on Ukraine on November 28 damaged several infrastructure facilities of "Naftogaz". The company’s storage facilities and other assets have been under fire from Russian attacks since the early days of the war.

Naftogaz has promised not to raise gas prices for Ukrainians next winter. Meanwhile, the market price of gas stands at around 15 hryvnias per cubic meter.
