One city now has full electricity: DTEK has updated the power outage schedules.

The power outage schedules have been revised in Kyiv and the surrounding region, while Odessa currently has electricity. However, the situation in Dnipro remains unchanged.

On Wednesday, December 25, DTEK updated the power outage schedules following a massive missile strike on Ukraine. The company published them on its website.

Updated Power Outage Schedules for Kyiv: What We Know

In Kyiv, power will be turned off in 12 subgroups on a rotating basis until 24:00 on December 25. You can check the current information and find out your turn on the portal "DTEK Kyiv Electric Networks" or on the Yasno website.

Missile Strike on Ukraine December 25: What We Know

On the night of December 25, Russian occupiers launched cruise missiles of the "Kalibr" type from the Black Sea towards Ukraine. Additionally, there were reports of launch maneuvers with TU-95MS in the Engels area.

Explosions were heard in several cities across Ukraine, particularly in Kharkiv, Kremenchuk, and Dnipro. "Ukrenergo" reported that due to the missile attacks, electricity restrictions are being implemented.

Energy Minister Herman Halushchenko noted that Russian forces are mass attacking the energy system. According to him, necessary measures are being taken to limit consumption in order to minimize negative impacts on the energy system.

Later, DTEK implemented power outage schedules in Kyiv, Dnipro, and Odesa. Subsequently, the schedules were modified.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky responded to the missile attack, stating that the enemy's goal is the Ukrainian energy sector. The occupiers aim to plunge the country into a blackout.
