The arrival of winter will mark the end of the rainy season in Ukraine, but it will bring dangerous fogs. Meteorologist Natalia Didenko shared a detailed weather forecast for the weekend of November 29.
According to her, the anticyclone Clemens will help autumn gracefully transition into winter. On November 30, most of the country will remain precipitation-free. The Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center specified that light wet snow and rain are expected only in some areas of Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia, and Kyiv regions, as well as in the west.
Additionally, icy conditions on the roads are possible in the west and north, as well as in Vinnytsia region. A level I danger warning has been issued for several regions on Saturday due to fogs that will reduce visibility to 200-500 meters. This phenomenon will be observed in Volyn, Rivne, Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Chernihiv, and Sumy regions.
On December 1, the weather forecast indicates that it will also be dry. Overnight, temperatures will hover around zero, while the east will be slightly colder — ranging from zero to -3 degrees. During the day, thermometers will register temperatures from +1 to +4 degrees, with warmer conditions only in the south and west — from +4 to +8 degrees.
In the capital, Saturday and Sunday will also pass without precipitation. Didenko noted that only fogs will linger, increasing cloudiness and reducing visibility.
Overnight in Kyiv, temperatures are expected to be around zero. During the day, the temperature will rise to between +1 and +4 degrees.
The meteorologist mentioned that the beginning of the new week and winter will not bring significant changes in the weather. Overnight, there will be light frosts, while daytime temperatures will remain slightly above zero without precipitation.
