In the early hours of January 15, Russian occupation forces launched cruise missiles across the territory of Ukraine. This was reported by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"There is a missile threat in the regions where an air alert has been declared!" — the message stated.
Subsequently, the Air Forces also noted that the Russian Armed Forces launched missiles from the Belgorod region towards Kharkiv.
At the same time, monitoring Telegram channels reported at 5:45 that Tu-95MS bombers likely conducted launches of cruise missiles.
"The enemy likely performed a launch of air-launched cruise missiles from the Volgograd region of the Russian Federation. Whether the launch was actually carried out or was a simulation will be known in an hour," — the message indicated.
According to monitoring reports, there were seven Tu-95MS aircraft in the sky, which took off from the Olenya airfield in the Saratov region.
Additionally, around 6:15 AM, the Russians raised a supersonic MiG-31K fighter jet into the sky, which is a carrier of the "Dagger" cruise missiles, prompting an air alert to be declared across the entire territory of Ukraine.
Approximately at the same time, media outlets reported the first explosion in Kharkiv.
By half-past six, monitors reported that the occupiers launched "Kalibr" cruise missiles also from the waters of the Black Sea.
In total, various types of cruise missiles were launched by the Russians across Ukraine, including X-101, "Daggers," and "Kalibrs."
At the time of publication, there was no information about damages or casualties resulting from the enemy attack.
Recall that on the night of January 13, the Russian Armed Forces attacked Ukraine with 110 "Shaheds" and various types of UAV decoys.
On the night of January 9 to 10, Russian occupation forces launched strike drones across Ukraine, and one of the "Shaheds" crashed into a high-rise building in Kyiv.
