In Odessa, a man evaded the police on the evening of February 2 and locked himself in his car. He is still hiding in the vehicle at one of the parking lots, with videos from the scene being shared by local Telegram channels.
The driver initially violated traffic rules, which led to him being stopped by patrol officers. During the document check, it was discovered that he was wanted for failing to update his military registration information.
The man was informed about the necessity to go to the TCK, but he locked himself inside the car and has been sitting there for about 14 hours. Police officers are stationed near the vehicle, awaiting the time for his transfer to the military enlistment office.
The driver called for help from lawyers and other individuals who tried to divert the police's attention away from him. Judging by the footage, there are quite a few concerned citizens present in the parking lot. A black Mercedes sedan is surrounded by two police cars.
As a reminder, the SBU in Odessa detained a spy who was monitoring the Ukrainian Armed Forces' ships. The man, on assignment from the FSB of the Russian Federation, was supposed to identify the firing positions of the anti-aircraft missile systems.
